You have 60 days to submit your name, brief history and “How I can help promote the BWFA Membership to others an contribute to my official position”
August 30, 2015 – last day
We'll update submission announcements here as they are submitted. We expect a lot of submissions and we encourage all members new and old to participate.
Names will posted in this Members Only Section for 60 days, which will give Current Members Only a chance to vote.
Remember, if you are voted in by the membership, you will be REQUIRED to attend the first meeting in November.
November 1, 2015
The final results will be announced on this Members Only Section and by phone.
November 14-15, 2015
All of those elected will be required to meet in Georgia for their first meeting.
The following committees will need active members and will be chaired by a board member:
- Convention Committee (Planning and Coordinating the Annual Convention)
- Membership Committee (Promotion and Growth of the Association)
- Certification Committee
- Ethics Committee
- Hall Of Fame & Awards Committee
- Education & Clinics Committee (Horse Owner Relations, etc.)
Those BWFA Members, who DO NOT wish to be on a committee, can submit their suggestions to be considered by the new board. These can be anything related to the farrier business and horse industry. Surprise us with your new ideas.
Be ready to decide on a convention date, set the agenda and locations for the 2016 events and Convention and get on with it!!
