How’s things out there, it’s starting to get real busy out here and the phantom is back so here he is.
Hey folks I’m back to tell you about my winter, and its been a bad one. To start with this economy is terrible, I moved to 3 different towns the last 6 months and can’t seem to make a living shoeing horses. I get real busy for a couple of weeks and then I slow down and do very little work. I don’t know what’s wrong, must be the economy. I can shoe 20 a day and keep the shoes on for 16 weeks, but that’s not what folks want. Thays talking about stuff like balance and bone alignment and stuff like that
Don’t mater, just clip em and nail em. Then this one lady sued me because her horse was a little sore, said some certified farrier had to spend four hours making bar shoes and special pads, then the vet had to come and drug the horse and stuff that don’t matter sos that certified fool could nail em on. I told her that the horse would be ok in a few weeks but she didn’t like that. The Judge didn’t either and threw the book at me, wanted to put me in jail but I hadn’t broke any laws. He said I broke natures law and he wished he could make me hurt like the horse did. Took all my money and made me get a job building fences to pay the vet bill and that farrier.
You know there might be something to this certified farrier stuff, that cat only worked 4 hours and got more for the job than I did for 2 weeks of fence building. I better check on that stuff but I got to go pack so’s I can move again, can’t seem to find any horses to shoe around here. Sure getting tired of moving, I think I’ll check on that certified stuff when I gets settled in another town. See you folks!
