BWFA Spring Fling-A Great Success!
On May 2nd and 3rd the Missouri Farriers Association hosted
by the BWFA Spring Fling Mid Year Convention...BWFA President Ralph Casey was on hand to help kick off the first ever Spring
Fling and answer questions from shoers and owners alike...
Horse owners were encouraged to take part ...Mr. Buck McColl from Mobile Milling...Equine Massage Therapist, Jackie Thomas...The most memorable of these discussions at the Spring Fling was the open forum that started spontaneously after the Vettec presentation with Tabb Pigg, of Vettec, Dave Richards
and Stan Trimble in regards to shoeing and trimming protocols

Why Should I Join or Renew My Membership

Through the BWFA I have gained access to an unlimited data base of knowledge, not just about shoeing but about running a profitable, professional business. I joined the BWFA at the start of the licensing and registration movement because the BWFA was the first and only organization to say "NO, you will not regulate or control my trade!"...... page 3

We can all be thankful that people like Ralph Casey fought hard to help keep the Government from taking over the Farriers with laws and regulations. A couple of years ago a few misguided farriers tried to get the government to take over our trade which would make us just like Great Britain and Germany. Well, we all can be glad they have failed so far.... page 3
