What if a friend were to ask you to help him make a special shoe or to help shoe a horse with a bad problem? Most of you would be happy to help. The task could easily take from two hours to halfaday. A simple “Thank You” would be more than enough. On that same note, I have heard many farriers say that if they just lived closer to the FNRC they would be happy to donate their time. Distance from the center doesn’t have to be a problem. It is a matter of interpretation. I could

donate the monetary cost of the two hours to the BWFA programs just as easy, even easier, than the farriers who live closer. All I have to do is show one to two

hours a month in the name of BWFA. As for me, that translates into $100 a month. It’s so easy. I don’t even have to adjust my schedule or travel out of my way. I simply pick on easy horse. Sit down and play with the numbers then look at the possibilities. I assure you; your returns on the two hours of monetary

monthly donation will come back to you several times over.
